Clemmer Pet Resort

Clemmer Pet Resort is a family-owned kennel at 5103 SE Bishop Rd that offers dog boarding in Lawton, OK, along with cat boarding. The family has run it since 1969. It accepts dogs of every size, from small breeds up to giant ones.

What are the dog runs like?

Dogs stay in large indoor/outdoor runs with optimized heating and cooling. Each run has a doggie door that opens onto a 12-foot outdoor run, so dogs can step outside and come back in on their own. The kennel describes its style as personal and responsive. Staff get to know each guest during feeding and cleaning time.

Key services and amenities:

• Climate-controlled indoor/outdoor runs
• 12-foot outdoor runs with doggie-door access
• Medication given according to the owner's instructions
• Bedding provided, and owners may bring their dog's own bed, toys, and food
• Floor-to-ceiling cat suites with four levels

Can it handle pets with special needs?

Yes. Staff will give medications as instructed, and the kennel takes extra-gentle care of blind or deaf pets. Owners who want to keep things familiar can pack their dog's usual food and a bed from home. That can help a nervous dog settle in during a first stay.

What should first-time clients know?

First-time clients can set up a preview tour before booking a stay. Reservations are made online, and published rates range from $14 to $20 per day depending on the pet. For questions about a specific dog, Clemmer Pet Resort can be reached at 580-284-2489.
