Carolina 24k Kennels Pet Retreat

Carolina 24k Kennels Pet Retreat is a family-owned kennel at 1503 Cheraw Rd in Cassatt, SC, offering traditional boarding with around-the-clock care. Owners looking for dog boarding in Cassatt will find a smaller operation that takes every breed and size, from small dogs up to giant breeds.

What does a stay include?

The kennel is climate controlled, and dogs get outdoor play several times a day. Each guest gets one-on-one time with staff at no extra cost, whether that means a game of ball or some quiet company. The family describes the goal simply as a safe, comfortable place for dogs, inside and out.

• 24/7 supervision
• Climate-controlled kennels
• Outdoor space with play multiple times daily
• One-on-one attention included in the stay
• Updates by text or Facebook Messenger

Can dogs socialize or stay together?

Dogs from the same household can share a kennel. Supervised play with other dogs is available, but only when the other dogs' owners have agreed to it too. That gives owners of shy or easily stressed dogs a say in how their dog spends the day.

What should owners know before booking?

Vaccinations are required for every boarding guest, so confirm the current list with the kennel before the stay. Reservations are made by phone at 803-677-7350. General questions can also go to Carolina24kennels@gmail.com. While a dog is boarding, owners get updates by text or Facebook Messenger.

Why consider a family-run kennel?

Carolina 24k Kennels Pet Retreat is owned and operated by one family. Their own site reads warm and plain-spoken, with most of its attention on play time, personal attention and keeping owners in the loop. For Cassatt-area owners who prefer a smaller, personal setting, it's worth a phone call to talk through their dog's needs.
