Best Friends Pet Clinic of Fort Smith

Best Friends Pet Clinic of Fort Smith is a veterinary clinic at 4400 Rogers Ave. Suite C that offers dog boarding in Fort Smith, Arkansas. It also boards cats, reptiles and small animals. Because boarding happens inside a working clinic, a veterinarian is on site, and staff can give medications during a pet's stay.

What does boarding here include?

Dogs and cats stay in separate boarding areas inside a clinic facility of more than 5,000 square feet. The clinic describes its setup as a fear-free boarding environment, and its staff hold Fear Free and AAFP certifications. Each dog is walked on its own at least three times a day in a grassy field.

• Climate-controlled boarding with 24/7 supervision
• On-site veterinary care and an in-house lab
• Medication administration during stays
• Individual walks in an outdoor grassy field
• Grooming services

Who is it a good fit for?

Owners of senior dogs, or dogs who take daily medication, may like having veterinary care in the same building where their pet sleeps. Anxious dogs may do better with the fear-free approach and certified staff. Households with more than one kind of pet can board everyone in one place, since the clinic also takes cats, reptiles and small animals.
