Best Friends Boarding at Animal Medical Center of Mt. Pleasant

Best Friends Boarding at Animal Medical Center of Mt. Pleasant offers dog boarding and daycare at 958 Houston Northcutt Blvd in Mount Pleasant, SC. It is part of a federally accredited veterinary practice, so a vet is on site while dogs stay.

What does a boarding stay include?

Dogs stay in spacious indoor, air-conditioned 4 x 6 runs. Each day includes three outdoor play times in grassy, shady play areas, and feedings come with the stay. Owners who want more room can ask about the luxury kennels and private rooms, though space in those is limited. Special diets can also be handled.

• Climate-controlled indoor 4 x 6 dog runs
• Three outdoor play times per day, with feedings included
• Luxury kennels and private rooms (limited availability)
• Baths, including basic, Furminator, and medicated Mitaban treatments
• Extra one-on-one playtimes and Frosty Paws treats

What sets it apart?

The medical side is the big difference. Boarding runs inside a veterinary practice, which helps if your dog is older, takes medication, or just makes you nervous to leave behind. The clinic says it cares for every pet like family, and the boarding setup follows the same idea.

Small dogs get their own space. The Pampered Pooch Room is only for dogs under 15 lbs. It is a sound-proof room where they watch movies away from the noise of bigger dogs. Cats are covered too, with three-room cat condos kept away from barking dogs.

Is there daycare?

Yes. Daycare is offered alongside overnight boarding, so it works for a long workday or for a trial run before a longer stay. Ask the boarding team for details.
