Founded by Shannon Miller, who has a deep passion for rescuing and rehabilitating dogs, the organization focuses on giving "unwanted" senior dogs a chance at a happy and fulfilling life.

Shannon has over a decade of experience working with dogs, teaching them manners and basic obedience. Her philosophy centers on the belief that well-behaved dogs have a better chance of avoiding shelters. She tirelessly dedicates over five days a week to working with an average of 70 dogs daily for twelve hours, employing strategies inspired by Cesar Milan and her own unique methods. Dogs that attend daycare often return home happy, tired, and with improved training.

Services and Focus

• Doggy Daycare: Maggie's Playhouse, Shannon's doggy daycare, offers a stimulating and safe environment for dogs to play and socialize.
• Senior Dog Rescue: The organization actively rescues senior dogs from shelters and the Humane Society, prioritizing those who are overlooked due to age, medical conditions, or behavioral challenges.
• Medical Care: Bean's Senior Care also takes in dogs with medical needs, regardless of age, providing them with necessary treatments and support.
• Training and Manners: Emphasis is placed on teaching dogs basic obedience and manners, which can improve their adoptability and overall quality of life.

Bean's Senior Care is a registered non-profit organization in Nevada and with the IRS. They rely on donations to support their mission, with options to sponsor individual dogs or contribute to general care, food, and veterinary expenses. For those who donate $20 or more monthly, tax-deductible receipts are provided.
