Bark City Lodge

Bark City Lodge is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 3742 W 9000 S in West Jordan, Utah, that also offers grooming and training. Dogs stay in private, climate-controlled suites, and the owners live on the property, so someone is there overnight.

What does a boarding stay include?

Each boarder gets a private run, and outdoor time comes with every stay. On nice days, dogs can move between the indoor space and an outdoor "pawtio" as they please. Bedding is a raised Kuranda bed with blankets, so the dog bed can stay at home.

• Private, climate-controlled suites
• Indoor play and outdoor space
• Nightly report cards with photos
• Medication administration and special diets
• 24/7 supervision with owners living on-site

What extras can owners add?

The lodge has a farm setting, and dogs can head out for farm time strolls. There are also one-on-one cuddle sessions, stuffed Kongs, and treats for dogs who enjoy some extra attention. For owners who want more than a place to stay, the lodge offers grooming, a self-wash station, and dog training through Sit Means Sit.

Why does on-site overnight care matter?

The owners live on the property, so dogs aren't left alone after closing time. That can make a real difference for nervous dogs or first-time boarders. It also helps on noisy nights, like holidays with fireworks.
