Badlands K-9

Badlands K-9 is a professional boarding kennel facility located in Taylor, North Dakota, dedicated to providing a secure, sanitary, and comfortable environment for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. With extensive experience dating back to 1997, owner Brett Gjermundson ensures that your canine companion receives exceptional care while you are away.

Key Services and Amenities

• Climate-Controlled Kennels: Each kennel is designed to be clean and climate-controlled, ensuring your dog's comfort regardless of the weather.
• Sanitary Exercise Yards: Two fenced exercise yards are available for potty breaks and playtime, providing a safe outdoor space.
• Individual Kenneling: Dogs are housed individually in one of the 14 kennels to promote health and safety, preventing direct interaction with other dogs.
• Medication Administration: Dogs requiring medication are welcome, with a detailed medication schedule provided by the owner to ensure their routine is maintained.
• Dietary Consistency: Owners are required to supply their dog's own food to maintain their regular diet and prevent digestive upset.

The facility features an indoor exercise room that enhances security by creating a buffer zone between the entrance and the kennel area. This design prioritizes the safety of all dogs, especially those who may be nervous or frightened. Badlands K-9 also requires specific vaccinations, including Rabies, Distemper, and Kennel Cough, with no exceptions to ensure the health of all boarded animals. Owners are encouraged to provide familiar bedding and toys to help their dogs feel more at home during their stay.
