Astro Kennels

Astro Kennels offers dog boarding and daycare at 418 Scuffletown Rd in Simpsonville, SC, along with training, grooming, and cat boarding. Stays are booked online, and the kennel's website lists overnight rates from $34 to $49 per night.

What does a boarding stay include?

Families with more than one dog can book a shared suite so their dogs stay together. Staff can give medications during a stay. Owners can also add extras like peanut butter Kongs, frozen Blueberry Frog treats, toys, or swim times.

What services are offered?

• Overnight dog boarding in private suites
• Doggy daycare with outdoor space
• Dog training and grooming
• Cat boarding in private condos with separate litter rooms
• Medication given during boarding stays

What sets Astro Kennels apart?

Astro Kennels is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, so it can help owners who are working toward that title with their dog. The kennel also runs a few specialty programs. Wilderness Adventure takes dogs out on a long leash to explore nature. Astro Air Dogs offers dock diving for dogs that love the water.

The kennel's website describes boarding as something that should be fun for the dog, and the daily schedule reflects that. Outdoor time comes built into every stay, not as an add-on.
