Agawam DogWorks

Agawam DogWorks is a dog daycare in Agawam, Massachusetts, that also offers grooming and training at 860 Suffield Street. Dogs spend the day playing off-leash indoors, in a climate-controlled space, while their owners are at work or out for the day.

What services does Agawam DogWorks offer?

Daycare is the core of the business, and the play happens indoors. That keeps the temperature steady during a July heat wave or a January cold snap. The kennel's own website is cheerful and unfussy, with an obvious fondness for tennis balls, belly scratches, and dogs that go home tired.

Grooming and training are available as well, so owners can handle more than playtime in one place.

• Dog daycare with off-leash playtime
• Climate-controlled indoor play space
• Grooming
• Dog training
• Medication administration and special diets

What makes it different?

Two things stand out. First, the kennel will give medications and accommodate special diets, which matters for older dogs or those with sensitive stomachs. Second, it offers drop-in and Six Flags day passes, an option aimed at families who need somewhere for the dog to go while they spend a day at the park.

How much does it cost, and how do you book?

Daycare rates published on the kennel's website run from $28 to $40 per day. Reservations are made online through agawamdogworks.com. Vaccinations are required, so it makes sense to have records on hand before booking a first visit.

Practical details

Agawam DogWorks is closed on Saturdays, so weekend plans need to account for that. For other days, it is worth confirming drop-off and pick-up times directly with the kennel. Questions can go to 413-342-4435 or AgawamDogWorks@icloud.com. The business also has Facebook and Instagram pages for owners who want a closer look before they commit.
