Advanced Pet Care

Advanced Pet Care is a veterinary clinic at 6804 Hwy. 98 in Hattiesburg, MS, that also offers boarding, daycare, and grooming. For owners comparing dog boarding in Hattiesburg, the main draw is simple: a kennel stay comes with on-site veterinarians under the same roof. Cats can board here too.

What services does Advanced Pet Care offer?

Boarding is one part of a full-service animal hospital. The clinic's own site describes its approach as treating each pet like a member of the family rather than just another patient. Key services include:

• Dog and cat boarding
• Daycare
• Grooming
• Wellness and vaccination programs
• Surgical, emergency, and extended care

The clinic also provides nutritional counseling, microchipping, and an online pharmacy for medications.

How is it different from a standard kennel?

The biggest difference is the vet on site. Boarding happens inside a working veterinary practice, so medical staff are in the same building as the kennel. That can matter most for older dogs, dogs on medication, or owners who feel better with a doctor close by.

Advanced Pet Care lists memberships in the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. It is also a member of Emergency Vets.

Practical details for owners

The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed Saturday and Sunday. Owners should plan drop-off and pickup around those weekday hours. Vaccinations are required for boarding, so it makes sense to call ahead and confirm what records to bring.
