You Lucky Dog

You Lucky Dog is a cage-free dog boarding and daycare facility at 512 Main Street in Holden, MA. Dogs spend the day playing in a group, and overnight guests sleep in their own suites. The business also serves owners from Worcester, Paxton, Sterling, Rutland, and Shrewsbury.

What services does You Lucky Dog offer?

The kennel runs two connected services: doggie daycare and what it calls stay and play boarding. Group play is included with every boarding stay, so overnight dogs spend their days with the rest of the group. When it is time to eat and rest, they move to a private suite.

• Cage-free daycare with indoor play areas and outdoor space
• Overnight suites for a single dog or dogs from the same family
• Group play included with every boarding stay
• Medication administration for dogs that need it

What makes it different?

This is a social setup, and it will not suit every dog. You Lucky Dog requires a temperament evaluation for every new dog. That screening is worth knowing about if a dog is shy, reactive, or new to group play.

Owners of dogs who love company will likely see the open, crate-free format as the main draw. Families with more than one dog can also keep them together overnight, since the suites take same-family groups.
