Select suites include a private outdoor terrace, heated in winter and cooled in summer. The Villa rooms are soundproofed, which makes them a fit for anxious or senior dogs that need a quieter corner. Play areas sit behind multiple layers of fencing. Staff are on site around the clock during overnight stays, and the whole building is climate controlled.

Owners can add activities or room service, and request photo and text updates while they are away. After a stay, Whiskers sends home a personalized report card.

Reservations are made online. The Grand Rapids location is open 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, and 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday.
