Von Aries Kennels

Von Aries Kennels is a boutique dog boarding and daycare kennel at 1524 Hathaway Road in Fort Wayne, and it also handles grooming and training. Boarding takes place in private suites in two sizes, 5x5 and 5x10, and two dogs from the same household can share a suite. Every kennel has an orthopedic Kuranda bed. Dogs go out to the outdoor play yards five times a day. The mix of services means a stay can include grooming or a training session rather than just an overnight kennel run.

Aggressive dogs are welcome, and each one gets an individualized care plan. The kennel does not discriminate by breed. Private suites mean dogs are not grouped into shared runs overnight. Owners Laurie and Brad Binz are Certified Emergency Medical Responders and are First Aid Certified in Canines, so there is real medical training on site. Emergency after-hours boarding is available at no additional charge, which is worth knowing if a trip gets rearranged at the last minute.

Booking is handled by phone at 260-445-4527. Hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sunday.
