Unleashed Pet Services

Unleashed Pet Services is a licensed dog boarding and training facility in Independence, Iowa, owned and operated by Hilary Weber. Positioned as a home away from home, the facility sits on a 10-acre property and focuses on safety, cleanliness, and the well-being of every guest. Indoor kennels come in several sizes so dogs of every breed, from extra-small companions to giant breeds like Great Danes, have a comfortable place to stay.

Each suite is equipped with an elevated bed and separate food and water bowls, and only dogs from the same family are housed together. Soft classical music plays day and night to help reduce anxiety, and a purpose-built air-to-air exchange system keeps the environment clean with a priority on smell and infection control.

• Board & train and private lessons for obedience and off-leash reliability
• Minimum of four outdoor breaks each day across dedicated dog runs
• Daily photo and text updates available on request
• Optional 30-minute walks or play sessions on or off the property

The training programs are a cornerstone of the business, offering real-world practice, a balanced approach of positive reinforcement and corrections, lifetime refresher sessions, and CGC and S.T.A.R. Puppy testing. Medication administration and accommodation for special-needs dogs are available with advance notice.

Owners are encouraged to schedule a virtual or in-person tour and behavioral evaluation before their dog's first stay, helping the team tailor care and giving families confidence that their pets are in attentive, experienced hands.
