Two Ponds Pet Lodge & Day Camp

Two Ponds Pet Lodge & Day Camp is a dog boarding, day camp, and grooming facility at 9530 W 80th Ave in Arvada, CO, roughly a mile west of Wadsworth on 80th Avenue. The property sits on 6 acres surrounded by Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge. It takes dogs of every size, from small to giant, and also boards cats, rabbits, ferrets, birds, and pocket pets.

What makes it different

Day camp dogs are grouped by size, age, and energy level, and staff supervise each group. Because every play yard is web-cammed, owners can check in on their dog from anywhere through the lodge's online account system. Dogs already boarding can add discounted day camp to their stay, and staff move them from their cabin for a play session and back again. Small animals get a dedicated space away from the dogs and other guests.

Practical details

The lodge is open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, and closed Sunday. Reservations are made online, or by phone at (720) 743-0394. Published nightly rates start at $30.50 for cat condos and $43.50 for pocket pets and other caged animals. Rates cover one pet, with a 25% discount for each additional pet sharing the same cabin or condo. A peak season surcharge applies during major holidays and local school breaks, and pets on medication are charged $3 per medication, per pet, per day.
