Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch

Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch offers a home-style alternative to traditional kennels for dog owners throughout Tucson, Green Valley, Vail, and Sahuarita. Owner Angela Miller, caring for dogs since 2007, welcomes a select number of well-socialized dogs into her fenced four-acre property, where every guest shares her home rather than being kept in a run or cage.

Each day at the Ranch follows a structured routine built around outdoor adventure and genuine companionship. Dogs enjoy supervised hikes through wildlife-fenced trails, splash in an in-ground pool beneath a shaded veranda, and play on a custom dog agility course, all while a human stays on site at all times.

Requirements & Booking

Boarding guests must be at least 10 months old, spayed or neutered, house-trained, and current on rabies, DA2PP, leptospirosis, and bordetella vaccinations. The Ranch does not accommodate dogs with separation anxiety, marking, or house-training issues, and asks that owners bring their dog's own food to maintain a consistent diet.

Visits and stays are strictly by appointment, starting with an initial phone conversation to learn about a dog's temperament before scheduling a meet-and-greet. Clients traveling from as far as Texas have relied on the Ranch's personalized, small-scale care, praising the daily photo updates and the loving attention their dogs receive in place of a conventional kennel stay.
