Thundering Paws

What an overnight stay includes

Every boarding dog gets a private 35-square-foot suite, and there are 32 of them. Rooms have air conditioning, heating and air circulation, plus a raised cot and a snuggle blanket. Staff clean the rooms daily. Dogs head out to one of the 14 outdoor runs for two playtimes a day. Two penthouse suites go further, with a private yard, a covered deck and a pool in the summer months, which fits dogs who like to come and go on their own schedule.

How play is handled

Group play is matched by energy, age, size and temperament rather than thrown together by whoever is on site that day. Dogs who would rather skip the crowd use solo play areas instead. For owners of shy, senior or simply particular dogs, that choice is the detail worth knowing.
