The Puppy Patch

The Puppy Patch runs dog daycare in Annandale, NJ, with supervised play groups, full-service grooming, and an on-site retail store at 1481 US Highway 22 East. Small, medium, and large dogs are all accepted. Reservations are handled over the phone.

What a day there looks like

Play happens in two fenced outdoor yards, one for small dogs and one larger field where bigger dogs can really run. Both yards have climbing and chasing equipment, plus beds and platforms for dogs who want a break. Summer brings out the pools and water hose play. There is indoor play space as well, so rough weather doesn't cut the day short.

Staff can bring a dog inside to feed on request. Dogs who need a quiet place to rest or recuperate can get that too, rather than staying in the group the whole time.

Cost, hours, and getting started

Published daycare rates run between $40 and $52 per day. The doors open early on weekdays, 6:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, which suits owners who commute. Saturday hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the facility is closed Sunday. Proof of current vaccinations is required before a dog joins the group.
