The Pet Clinic

The Pet Clinic is a veterinary practice at 8195 Woolmarket Road in Biloxi, MS, that boards dogs and cats at its on-site facility, The Pet Lodge. For owners comparing dog boarding in Biloxi, the main draw is simple: a veterinarian is on site during clinic hours, so a boarding dog is never far from medical care.

What are the dog accommodations like?

Dogs stay in one of two setups. The larger boarding suites measure 8ft x 8ft, while the lodge spaces are 4ft x 8ft and come with cozy doggy beds. Dog spaces have ceiling fans, an in-suite TV, and a view into the interior atrium.

• Veterinarian on site during clinic hours
• Private suites with ceiling fans and TV
• Solo yard play with staff 3-4 times a day
• Indoor play and outdoor space
• Special diets accommodated

How do dogs get exercise?

Play here is one-on-one rather than in groups. Staff take each dog out for solo yard time three to four times daily. Owners of dogs who do better without a crowd may find that format a good fit.

What sets it apart?

Boarding at The Pet Clinic sits inside a working vet practice, and that shapes the approach. The clinic's own website puts weight on owner education and care tailored to each animal. Dr. Deanna Thead holds Fear Free certification. Cats are housed separately from dogs, with their own daytime playroom and cat trees.
