The Paws Resort & Suites

The Paws Resort & Suites provides dog boarding, dog daycare, grooming, and training in Beaumont, TX, at 4595 Washington Blvd. Cats stay here too, in an area the resort sets aside for feline guests.

Where dogs stay

Lodging is built around private rooms and luxury suites rather than open runs. Suites come with Kuranda plush beds, flat screen TVs, and webcams. The building is climate controlled and watched by 24-hour security monitoring. Staff handle daily health and wellness checks, fresh linens, room service, and fresh drinking water at all times.

What it costs

Rates are posted on the resort's site. A 6x8 suite is $50 per night or day visit, and a 6x12 is $60. Cat suites run $31. A second pet sharing the same room is half off. Resort activities are billed on top of lodging: $9 covers a 15-minute Pampered Pet Session of brushing, massage, and play, and $16 adds four play sessions a day for dogs already lodging.

Practical details

Check-in is after 12 noon, and pets picked up by noon are not charged for that day. A morning check-in or an afternoon check-out adds a charge equal to one night of lodging. Dogs need current DHLPP, rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations, with canine influenza recommended. Weekday hours run 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., plus a Sunday afternoon window from 3 to 5 p.m. Booking and tour scheduling go through the resort by phone at 409-333-1999.
