The Kennels

The Kennels is a dog boarding and daycare facility in Grass Valley, CA, at 12736 McCourtney Rd, and it also boards cats and grooms both. Every dog stays in a private suite that opens onto its own 30'x6' shaded outdoor patio, and the building is climate controlled. Beds are raised off the floor and made up with fresh fleece bedding.

What a stay looks like

Dogs get outdoor time in paddocks and runs during the day. Because each patio is attached to a single suite, outdoor space doesn't have to be shared. Pet & Play sessions pair a dog with a staff member in a fenced grass dog park. Dogs who would rather walk can go out on a Tregoad Park nature walk. Cats stay in indoor and exterior condos with perches. Older dogs can be placed in special assistance rooms with non-slip flooring that is easier on stiff joints.
