The Four Paws Hotel & Day Resort

The Four Paws Hotel & Day Resort offers dog boarding, dog daycare, and grooming from a 7,000+ square foot facility on Industrial Park Drive in Grand Blanc, Michigan. It works as both an overnight hotel and a day resort, so a dog can spend the day playing or stay overnight.

What are the boarding rooms like?

The room lineup follows the hotel theme. Standard hotel rooms come with raised orthopedic cots that keep dogs off the floor. Hotel Suites offer more room for larger dogs or for households boarding more than one dog together.

At the top end are the Four Paw Penthouses. Each one has a leather couch, a flat screen TV, and window views. The idea is something closer to a bedroom at home than a traditional kennel run.

What else is offered beyond boarding?

Dogs aren't limited to their rooms. The facility has indoor play areas and outdoor space, plus a list of extras that lean toward pampering:

• Daycare with indoor and outdoor play
• Nature hikes
• Bed-time tuck-in
• Aromatherapy massage
• Grooming, including de-shedding and de-matting

The website's tone is warm and personal. Staff describe caring for guests the way they care for their own pets, and the add-on menu reflects that.

How do booking and pricing work?

Published overnight rates range from $50 to $70 per night. The Four Paws accepts dogs of every size, from small breeds up to giant breeds. Vaccinations are required, so it's worth having records ready before the first stay. Reservations are handled by phone at (810) 771-7266.
