The Dog Scoop

The Dog Scoop offers cage-free dog boarding and daycare in Newton, MA, out of a facility at 216 Webster St. It accepts dogs of every size, from small breeds through giant ones, and runs an Open Pack program built on free-roaming socialization rather than individual runs.

What sets it apart

The outdoor area uses antimicrobial artificial turf, with shade and misters for hot afternoons and pools when the weather turns warm. Indoors, the space stays climate-controlled year-round.

Booking, hours, and rates

The facility is open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, every day of the year. Overnight boarding runs $75 to $90 per night, based on rates published on the kennel's website. Reservations are handled online. All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
