What makes it different

Training runs through everything here. Every dog in daycare gets what the staff calls Enrichment, and it is included in the daycare price: group play coaching, basic commands, agility, treadmill work, or puzzles, depending on the day. Boarding includes daycare at no extra cost.

The Structured Daycare program builds a plan around one dog at a time, with focuses like reactivity work, scent games, cooperative care, and trick training. Owners start that process by emailing a trainer at training@commondog.com.

Practical details

Boarding runs $72 to $110 per night. Weekday hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and weekend hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Daycare drop-off is by 10:30 AM, boarding check-in is no later than noon, and checkout is at noon.

Late pickup until 10 PM can be arranged by calling ahead, and extra charges apply. Reservations go through the online client portal, and the front desk number is (617) 381-6363.

Staff are first-aid certified, the facility is cleaned and sanitized daily, and the air runs through hospital-grade HEPA filters. Military members, K-12 teachers, and first responders get 10% off. Free tours are available for owners who want to see the place first.
