The Bed & Biscuit

The Bed & Biscuit is a dog boarding and daycare facility in Waterloo, NE, just outside Omaha, and it also handles grooming. The owners live on the property, steps from the lodging area, so someone familiar is close by after hours.

Lodging, daycare and grooming

Overnight guests stay in either Standard Rooms or Patio Rooms, and the Patio Rooms come with a private covered outdoor patio where a dog can lounge in the shade. The whole building is climate controlled, and supervision runs around the clock. Daycare dogs spend their day in indoor and outdoor play areas, and grooming is available on site, which spares owners a second stop on the way home from a long stay.

Dogs who need a different pace

Group play does not suit every dog, so The Bed & Biscuit offers individual play and enrichment for less-social guests. Puppies, seniors and anxious dogs are all accommodated, which matters for owners who have been turned away elsewhere or who worry about how their dog handles a busy room.

Booking and practical details

The published rate is $40 per day. Reservations are made online through the Gingr app, which is also where owners receive photos and updates while their dog is staying. Vaccinations are required.
