The 12th Dog

The 12th Dog is an in-home dog boarding service in Newcastle, WA, offering extended stays in a home setting along with dog walking and pet sitting. It serves owners across the Greater Eastside who want their dog to stay active and social while they're away.

What services does The 12th Dog offer?

The business is built around keeping dogs moving and outdoors. Its main services include:

• In-home extended-stay boarding
• Off-leash adventures at Marymoor Park, with 44 acres to explore
• Dog walking on hiking trails and along rivers
• Pet sitting with daily adventures and photo updates
• Pickup and drop-off

How is it different from a traditional kennel?

Dogs board in a home instead of a kennel facility. The focus is on outdoor time, socialization and getting out on the trails, so this setup tends to suit energetic dogs that enjoy company. Owners receive photo updates during pet sitting stays, which helps when you're traveling and want to see how your dog is doing.

The website has a warm, personal tone. It reads as hands-on care from someone who clearly enjoys spending the day outside with dogs, and the emphasis on adventure and play comes through on every page.
