Sweet Home Pet Spa & Resort

Sweet Home Pet Spa & Resort is a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming business at 1524 6th Ave SE in Decatur, Alabama. It offers overnight dog boarding in Decatur along with daycare and a full grooming menu, all built around science-based, low-stress handling.

What makes Sweet Home different?

The business describes its approach as care designed around how dogs think, feel, and cope with new surroundings. Each dog's stay is shaped by its temperament, age, and energy level instead of one fixed routine. Its website puts the focus on calm, predictable days with structured enrichment and proper rest, not nonstop stimulation.

That approach may suit owners whose dogs get anxious away from home. It could also fit older dogs who do better at a slower pace.

What services are offered?

• Overnight boarding
• Doggy daycare
• Breed-specific coat care for poodle and doodle, single, double, and curly coats
• Nail trims and dremeling, teeth brushing, and ear plucking
• De-shed and de-mat treatments

Grooming is a big part of the business, so owners can find boarding, daycare, and coat care in one place. That matters most for doodles and heavy shedders, whose coats need regular attention.
