Suntar's Kennels

Suntar's Kennels provides dog boarding in Saco, Maine, plus daycare, grooming, and cat boarding, from a facility at 750 Portland Road. It accepts small, medium, and large dogs and is open seven days a week, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Suites, play yards, and the daily routine

Dogs stay in indoor/outdoor suites connected to roomy play yards, with separate sizing for small, medium, and large dogs. The suites open to the outdoors, so a dog isn't shut in one indoor run all day. Each dog gets a raised Kuranda bed and a soft microfiber blanket at night. Group play runs about every two hours and is organized by size, age, and energy level. Dogs who prefer their own space are taken out for individual play time instead.

House dry dog food is available for owners who would rather not pack meals. Vaccinations are required for boarding and daycare. Published nightly rates range from $30 to $67.
