Resorts Boarding and Play

Resorts Boarding and Play is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 89 Buffalo Street in Hamburg, NY, with overnight suites, indoor and outdoor play rooms, grooming, and training. How the play space works

Dogs are grouped by size and temperament rather than turned out together. The Front Play Room is set aside for smaller and calmer dogs. The main Play Room has indoor/outdoor access year-round, and the Pool Room keeps a pool and sprinklers running for larger dogs in smaller groups. There is also an outdoor potty yard.

The Canine Cantina is built around a bone-shaped water feature with fountains and bubblers. It is the kind of amenity that matters if a dog loves water and does not if the dog would rather nap in a suite.

Staff training

Team members complete coursework through the Dog Gurus and the Dog Handler Academy, and staff are trained in canine CPR. Training services are handled by certified dog trainers credentialed through the Fern Dog Training Academy and the Animal Behavior Institute.

Practical details
