Poochies & Mutts

Poochies & Mutts is a dog boarding and daycare facility on N Packerland Dr in Green Bay, WI, that also boards cats and offers grooming. Owners get cage-free play, private overnight rooms, and live webcams in one place.

What is an overnight stay like?

Overnight dogs sleep in private 40 sq. ft. bedrooms with raised Kuranda beds. Soothing spa music plays through the night to help them settle. During the day, dogs play indoors in a climate-controlled, cage-free setting. They are grouped by size, so a small terrier won't be sharing space with a big retriever.

What makes it different from a basic kennel?

The facility has pools and a rock climbing wall, which suits high-energy dogs that need more than a walk around a yard. The website comes across as warm and pet-first. Its stated goal is simple: dogs should go home happy and tired.

What services are offered?

• Dog boarding in private suites
• Doggie daycare with indoor play
• Grooming
• Cat boarding in condos with plush beds and private litter boxes
• Medication administration and pickup/drop-off service

Can owners check in while they're away?

Yes. Webcam access lets owners look in on their dog during a stay. For a nervous owner leaving a dog for the first time, being able to see the dog playing can make the trip a lot easier.
