Pet's Companion Inn

Pet's Companion Inn is a dog kennel and cattery at 8411 Roxboro Road in Bahama, NC. It offers overnight boarding, daycare, and grooming. Owners looking for dog boarding in Bahama or the greater Durham and Triangle area will find a facility with a country feel. It also takes cats, birds, rabbits, and other small animals.

What boarding options are available for dogs?

Dogs can stay in shared or single spaces in the traditional kennel. Owners who want something closer to home can book one of the luxury Studios, which are set up to feel more like a home. Nightly rates on the kennel's website run from $33 to $96. Boarding includes Bil-Jac Select food and bedding that is changed daily.

How do dogs spend their day?

A 4,000-square-foot atrium with grass gives dogs room to exercise outside. Staff also run one-on-one activities: Pet Camp Playtime, Couch Potato Lounge Time, and Kong Time. The kennel's own website is calm and practical in tone, and it puts a lot of weight on helping nervous pets settle in.

What services are offered?

• Dog daycare for owners who need daytime care
• On-site grooming
• Medication administration
• Care for pets with special needs, and diets brought from home
• A separate second-floor Cattery for cats

Practical details for owners

Pet's Companion Inn lists a Certified Kennel Operator (CKO) credential and membership in the International Boarding and Pet Services Association (IBPSA). Boarding requires current vaccinations. Owners can book online, call (919) 477-0618, or email info@petscompanioninn.com.

The kennel is open Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays. Saturday hours are short, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, so weekend drop-offs and pickups need some planning.
