What the property offers

The grounds cover four-plus acres of fenced land with four separate outdoor play pens, so groups can be split by size, age, and play level. Boarding dogs sleep in an air-conditioned and heated suite. Private Pen and Luxury Suite options are available for dogs who do better with their own space. Older dogs have a Senior Center, a quieter area for dogs who no longer keep up with the pack.

What makes it different

Two things set this place apart. New boarders can come in for free one to two hour transition drops before an overnight stay, as many as a dog needs to settle in first. And it isn't dogs only: cats, bunnies, lizards, snakes, and other caged animals board here as well.

Staff also handle medication administration and special diets, which matters for senior dogs and any dog on a routine. Indoor play space and climate control mean the schedule holds up through Maine winters and hot summer afternoons.

Practical details

Weekday hours run 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Rates range from $40 to $90 per day depending on the dog and the accommodation chosen.
