Moores Mill Animal Hospital

Moores Mill Animal Hospital is a veterinary clinic at 2120 Moores Mill Rd. in Auburn, AL, that also offers dog boarding for local pet owners. Because boarding happens inside an animal hospital, dogs stay in a place with a vet on site. The clinic treats both dogs and cats.

What services does Moores Mill offer?

Boarding is one part of a broader practice. Owners getting ready for a trip can take care of several things in one place.

• Pet boarding, with pickup available on Sunday
• Medication given during the stay
• Bathing, nail trims, gland expression, and ear cleaning
• Vaccinations and illness exams
• Advanced diagnostics

How is it different from a standard kennel?

The biggest difference is the medical setting. Dogs on daily medication, older dogs, or dogs with ongoing health needs may do better somewhere with a veterinarian in the building. The clinic describes its approach as low-stress, with gentle handling meant to keep nervous pets calm.

A cleanup before pickup is also simple to arrange. Bathing, nail trims, and ear cleaning all happen under the same roof as the boarding.

Hours, location, and booking

The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Boarding pickup is also offered on Sunday, which helps owners coming home from a weekend away. Reservations are made by phone at 334-821-7739, and general questions can go to mmvets@mmvets.com.

For owners in Auburn who want their dog boarded close to veterinary care, this clinic puts both in one spot. Calling ahead is the best way to check for open space and ask about anything the stay requires.
