Mindful Paws Dog Daycare

Mindful Paws Dog Daycare is a family-owned dog daycare and boarding facility at 8528 Pete Wiles Rd in Middletown, MD. Owners comparing dog daycare in Middletown usually notice the size limit first. The facility takes a maximum of 12 dogs per day, which keeps play groups small and easy to supervise.

What does a day at Mindful Paws include?

The day is built around active play followed by real rest. Dogs play in small groups, then take breaks in personal kennels set up with Kuranda beds and water buckets. Several extras come standard rather than as upcharges:

• Walks and one-on-one attention at no extra cost
• Filled, frozen chew toys and treats
• Outdoor play yards plus an indoor play area
• Nail trims available as an add-on

What sets it apart from larger daycares?

Space is a big part of the appeal. The property covers over six acres and includes two fenced outdoor play yards. The safety details are practical ones: double-gated entrances and six-foot fencing around the play areas. The owners describe their approach as hands-on and personal. Their site reads like people who want each dog to go home tired and happy, not like a large chain.
