Millers Mutts LLC

Millers Mutts LLC is a home-based dog daycare and boarding service at 201 Rollin Irish Road in Westford, Vermont. Dogs spend their day in a private home and yard, not a kennel building, and most of that day is spent outdoors.

What does a day at Millers Mutts look like?

The schedule is built around getting outside. Dogs go on two one-hour walks through the woods each day, and those walks include pond swims. Between outings, they play off-leash in a fenced backyard.

Dog doors let the dogs come and go between the house and the yard on their own. The site's tone is relaxed and honest: expect a dog that comes home wet, a little muddy and happy. Owners of water-loving, trail-loving dogs will probably see that as a selling point.

Services and amenities

• Cage-free daycare in a home setting
• Two one-hour woodland walks every day
• Pond swims as part of the walks
• Fenced backyard for off-leash play, plus indoor play space
• Overnight boarding for dogs the household already knows

Can any dog board overnight?

Overnight boarding is offered to familiar dogs, so it is not open to every first-time visitor. If you have a new dog and need an overnight stay, contact Millers Mutts first and ask how a dog becomes familiar enough to board.
