Lucky Dog Lodge is a dog boarding and daycare facility in Prairieville, Louisiana, with overnight suites and supervised play groups during the day. The building sits at 14449 Hwy 73 and takes both daytime guests and dogs staying while their owners travel. Much of the design work here went toward keeping the place clean and quiet.

Overnight guests stay in a classic suite or a signature suite. Signature suites are private rooms with a television and premium bedding. Raised pet beds are available, and bedding from home is welcome. Published nightly rates run from $60 to $145.

What sets the facility apart

Air quality gets a lot of attention here. A custom ventilation system exchanges the air completely every seven minutes, and PetAirapy disinfection technology treats the space. A central wet dry vac system handles cleanup. The floor plan is compartmentalized, which lowers noise and helps dogs settle instead of winding each other up. Staff are professionally trained.

Practical details
