Little Dogs Resort

Little Dogs Resort is a cage-free dog boarding and daycare facility at 4095 South Main Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. It works exclusively with small dogs under 25 pounds, and grooming is available on site. Staff are on hand around the clock, so overnight guests are supervised through the night.

What makes it different

Dogs are temperament tested before admission, then separated by size, temperament, and activity level once they join the group. That matching is the point: the smallest or shyest guests are not swept along by the most active ones. A dog who is nervous around other dogs starts with a one-on-one first-day assessment rather than going straight into a play group. Days are built around structured enrichment programming instead of open free play, which is how the facility describes its own approach. The setup is homey in one specific way, too. Dogs are allowed up on the furniture.

Hours, booking, and requirements

Weekday hours run 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Saturday hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday is a short window from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Reservations are handled by phone at (801) 261-0150. Proof of vaccination is required for every guest, and puppies can start as early as 8 weeks once their vaccines are in place.
