King's Kennels

King's Kennels is a traditional dog boarding kennel at 14797 325th Street in Saint Joseph, MN, offering overnight stays in a quiet country setting. It's a small rural operation built around routine, outdoor time, and personal attention for each dog.

What is a stay at King's Kennels like?

Each dog gets its own indoor kennel, four feet by six feet, where it eats and rests between outings. The building is climate-controlled, and music plays throughout the facility to keep the mood calm. The kennel sits on a secluded 21-acre rural property, so days pass in country quiet rather than city bustle.

How much time do dogs spend outside?

Dogs head out to two large outdoor exercise areas four times a day to run and play. Every dog also gets one-on-one attention daily, and that comes at no extra fee. For an active dog, that schedule breaks up the day well.

What services are offered?

• Overnight boarding in individual indoor kennels
• Outdoor play in two large exercise areas, four times daily
• Daily one-on-one attention at no extra charge
• Bathing at a dedicated shower station, plus grooming
• Medication given during the stay

What should owners know before booking?

Reservations are made by phone at (320) 356-7738. Vaccinations are required for every boarding dog, so it's worth confirming the specific list when calling. Questions can also go by email to paulaking@live.com.

The kennel describes itself as a calm, homelike place, and the details back up that low-key approach. For owners around Saint Joseph who want their dog in a quiet rural spot with a steady play routine, King's Kennels is a sensible place to start.
