Independent K-9 LLC

Independent K-9 LLC is a training-focused dog daycare and obedience school at 219B Lawn Street in Martinsburg, WV. Owners come here for structured play, puppy classes, board and train programs, and help with difficult behavior. Certified Master Dog Trainers run all of it.

What services does Independent K-9 offer?

The business presents itself as a training company first, and its services reflect that. Daycare runs alongside a wide range of lessons and programs:

• Dog daycare plus a Wednesday Social play day
• Board and train programs with weekly photo and video updates
• Private lessons at the facility or in the owner's home
• Group obedience, AKC STAR Puppy, and agility classes
• Service dog training

How is it different from a typical daycare?

The trainers handle behavior modification for fear, reactivity, and aggression. Owners often struggle to find help with those cases. Their website describes a balanced, personalized approach that matches tools and pacing to each dog's temperament and family instead of running a one-size-fits-all program.

Play is meant to be structured and supervised, so time with other dogs builds good manners instead of bad habits. For owners who want more than a place to drop the dog off for the day, that training focus is the main reason to look closely at this facility.
