Home Dog Care Center

Home Dog Care Center offers in-home dog boarding and dog daycare in Newington, CT, from its base at 101 Saddle Hill Road. Dogs stay in a home environment instead of a busy kennel. Stays can run from a single day to several weeks.

What services does Home Dog Care Center offer?

The business focuses on two things: overnight boarding and daytime care. Its website says the team talks through each dog's routine with the owner before a stay, so the care fits the dog. Key points:

• Boarding from one day to several weeks
• Dog daycare
• Regular meals plus outdoor time and walks
• Medication administration
• Flexible socialization options

How is it different from a traditional kennel?

The main draw is the setting. Dogs are cared for in a home environment, which may suit dogs that don't settle well in loud, crowded spaces. The team says it tries to match each dog's usual feeding, medication and playtime routine as closely as it can.

Socialization is flexible as well. Some dogs like their own space, while others enjoy company. Owners can say which fits their dog when they book. The business describes its animal care staff as highly trained.
