Hasley Canyon K9 Ranch

Hasley Canyon K9 Ranch offers dog boarding in Castaic, CA, at 30505 Sloan Canyon Rd, and training is a big part of what it does. Dogs stay in individual kennels on the ranch and get set rest time between activities. It suits owners who want a boarding stay with real structure and routine.

What is boarding at the ranch like?

Boarding here is ranch-style. Each dog has its own kennel, and the day mixes outdoor time with quiet rest. The ranch describes open ground and natural surroundings, which give dogs room to move and a chance to get used to new sights and sounds. Overnight boarding is listed at $100 per night.

What training does the ranch offer?

Training is the other half of the business, and it runs through most of the programs:

• Ranch boarding with individual kennels and rest time
• A puppy program for young dogs
• Group obedience and protection classes
• Behavior modification for reactivity, anxiety, and aggression
• Real-world field trips to parks and stores

The field trips are a practical idea. When dogs practice manners at a park or in a store, those skills are more likely to hold up outside a quiet training yard. Owners also get weekly progress updates through Paw Partner, so they can follow along while their dog is away.

How does the ranch describe its approach?

The ranch calls its training balanced and says each plan fits the individual dog. Its own writing is plain and measured. It stresses honest assessments and teaching owners how to keep up the work at home. That tone may appeal to owners of dogs with behavior problems who want a direct conversation before they commit.
