Gulfport Veterinary Hospital

Gulfport Veterinary Hospital is a full-service animal hospital at 204 Pass Rd in Gulfport, MS, and it offers pet boarding alongside its veterinary care. For owners comparing dog boarding in Gulfport, the main draw is easy to see. A veterinarian is on site, so dogs stay at a place built around medical care.

What does the hospital offer besides boarding?

Boarding is one part of a broader practice. The hospital covers routine and more involved care under one roof:

• Pet boarding with a vet on site
• Wellness checkups and vaccinations
• Spay and neuter surgery
• Surgery and dentistry
• House calls by appointment

That mix can help when a dog is due for shots or a checkup around the same time the family is traveling. It's worth asking about when calling to book.

Why might an owner choose a vet hospital for boarding?

Some dogs need closer watching than others. Older dogs, dogs on daily medication, or dogs with ongoing health issues may be better off near medical staff. The clinic has on-site digital radiography, in-house IDEXX blood diagnostics, and a fully stocked on-site pharmacy. The hospital says it treats pets like family. Its site describes boarding as a safe, caring place for a pet to stay while the owner is away.
