Goofy Paw Parade (GPP Dog Training)

Goofy Paw Parade (GPP Dog Training) offers in-home dog boarding in Altadena, CA, where dogs stay overnight at a private residence instead of a kennel. The business has a strong training focus, so it suits owners who want their dog to keep learning structure while they're away.

What services does Goofy Paw Parade offer?

Boarding is kept small on purpose, with only two or three dogs staying at a time. Training is central to the business. Its services include board and train, puppy work, obedience, and help for reactive dogs.

• In-home overnight boarding for 2-3 dogs at a time
• Private-stay boarding for dogs that aren't dog-friendly
• Puppy program covering socialization and basic obedience
• Board and train and obedience training
• Shuttle service within a 5-mile radius

How is it different from a traditional kennel?

The biggest difference is the home setting. Dogs board at a private residence, and owners who want something quieter than a large kennel may like the small group size. The trainer describes a balanced approach that mixes rewards with clear structure and boundaries. Dogs that don't do well around other dogs can book a private stay so they don't have to share space.

Service is bilingual, too. Spanish-speaking owners will see Se Habla Español listed as part of the offering.
