EmBARKadero Social Club is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 1766 Mission Street in San Francisco, taking small and medium dogs for overnight stays and full days of play. It operates out of a two-story, 3,500 square foot building with two outdoor areas that connect to indoor runs.

What the space is like

The layout gives dogs a choice about where to spend the day. Outside there are cots and benches. The indoor run has couches, which suits the dogs that would rather watch the action than join it. Overnight guests sleep on puffy plush beds in roomy kennels, and a pet-loving employee stays on site through the night.

Boarding is cage-free. Dogs that don't settle in a kennel and want human company overnight can use the kennel-free boarding option instead. Daycare runs seven days a week. Staff administer medication and follow special diets when a dog needs either.
