Downtown Dog Lounge

Downtown Dog Lounge is a dog daycare and boarding facility at 1011 Mercer St in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood. For owners looking for dog boarding in Seattle, it offers overnight stays, daytime play, grooming and training in one place. The business is woman-owned, has served Seattle since 2002 and also runs a second location in Ballard.

What services does Downtown Dog Lounge offer?

Overnight boarding comes with round-the-clock care. Daycare is there for owners who only need help during the workday. Grooming and training are offered alongside both, so a boarding stay can include more than just a bed and meals.

• Overnight boarding with 24/7 supervision
• Dog daycare with indoor play and outdoor space
• Grooming and training on site
• Webcam access for checking in on your dog
• A private enrichment program for puppies

What sets it apart?

The facility describes its approach in terms of safety and steady supervision, with staff on site day and night. Webcam access lets owners see how their dog is doing without calling the front desk. The puppy enrichment program focuses on early socialization, which helps younger dogs settle into group care.

Dogs of every size are accepted, from small breeds up to giant ones. That makes it a practical option for households with a large dog or more than one dog of different sizes.
