Double J Pet Ranch

Double J Pet Ranch is a ranch-style facility at 6470 Walker Road that provides dog boarding in Colorado Springs, plus daycare and grooming. It sits east of town on the way toward Denver International Airport, which makes it a workable drop-off for owners catching a flight. Boarding, daycare, and grooming all run out of the same property.

What the kennel building is like

The kennels are Priefert-manufactured and fitted with privacy panels, so a nervous dog gets a visual break from its neighbors. Singles measure 4' x 10' and doubles 5' x 10', each with a raised bed off the floor. Natural light reaches the kennel area during the day, an exhaust system keeps fresh air circulating, and the space is climate controlled. Music plays throughout the ranch. The owner lives on the property, which means someone is there overnight rather than just during business hours.

Rates, hours, and booking

Published rates run from $30 to $58 per night, depending on which service a dog is signed up for. The ranch is open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, seven days a week.
