Charry's Premier K-9 Training

Based on a training farm in Midway, Kentucky, Charry's K-9 Training is a working-dog academy that serves owners throughout Central Kentucky, including Lexington, Frankfort, Georgetown, and Versailles. Founded in 2017 by Brian Charry, whose background is rooted in IGP experience and working-line German Shepherds, the academy focuses on clear communication, reliable obedience, and stronger bonds between dogs and their people. Every breed is welcome, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes.

While training is the heart of the work, the facility also gives owners a safe, structured place to leave their dog while they travel or work — with the option to keep skills sharp through day training.

Programs & Services

• Board & Train — a three-week immersive program with daily real-world training and handler transfer lessons on days 7, 14, and 21
• Boarding — a safe, structured overnight stay with basic obedience reinforcement and optional day training
• Seasonal Daycare — running May through November with limited spots, built for high-energy dogs that need to burn energy

Dogs stay in a supervised routine, and owners can add optional day training so their dog comes home sharper rather than rustier. A multi-dog discount is available, and all puppy vaccinations are required for the safety of every dog in care.
