Canine Cardio

Canine Cardio is a dog daycare and boarding facility at 2709 S Oakland St in Arlington, VA, and its whole program is built around exercise. Owners looking for dog boarding in Arlington will find overnight stays here, along with a dog gym, training, and grooming in the same place.

What sets Canine Cardio apart?

The focus is on movement with a plan. Dogs do treadmill cardio and conditioning in the gym. Agility circuits and scent work give them something to think about as well. Low-impact swim sessions add pool time for dogs that need to burn energy without hard pounding on their joints.

The day also includes rest and reset time, so dogs aren't playing nonstop. The facility describes its approach as structured play rather than chaos, aimed at dogs that come home calm and confident instead of wound up.

What services and amenities are offered?

• Overnight boarding in a residential setting
• Daycare with indoor play and outdoor space
• Dog gym, swim sessions, agility, and scent work

Owners can add enrichment programs, called Drive, Explorer, and Ultimate, to a regular day. On Field Trip Fridays, dogs get out of the building. Owners receive report cards with photos through the booking app, so they can see how their dog spent the day.

Canine Cardio is a CPACP Certified Provider and lists AKC Fit Dog among its credentials. It has also been a member of The Dog Gurus since 2021.
