Can Rover Come Over Kennels

Can Rover Come Over Kennels offers dog boarding in Cashton, WI, at 10176 Neola Ave., and it takes cats as well. It is a traditional boarding kennel where each pet gets its own space and individual attention during the day.

What does a stay include?

Every pet stays in its own partitioned kennel, so dogs don't share sleeping quarters. Each kennel has air conditioning and heat, plus a doggy door that lets dogs come and go easily. The property also has outdoor space.

Days are built around activity. Dogs go on daily walks and get individual play time with toys and games of fetch. That one-on-one time is a big part of how the kennel describes its approach.

• Individual partitioned kennels for each pet
• Air conditioning and heat in every kennel
• Doggy doors for easy access
• Daily walks and solo play time with toys and fetch
• Cat boarding

How is the kennel kept secure?

The property has a motion-activated alarm system, and the business is fully insured. Owners leaving a dog for several days often want to know both of these things before they book.

What does it cost, and how do you book?

Published rates run from $20 to $25 per day. Booking is done by phone at (608) 606-9353. Business hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, seven days a week. General questions can also go by email to talkingfeatheredfriends@yahoo.com.

Who is it a good fit for?

This kennel suits dogs that do best with their own space and some personal attention each day. The site describes a friendly, small-business feel and a quiet country setting. Because it boards cats too, households with both can keep everyone at one place in Cashton.
