• A 5,600 sq. ft. outdoor play area with pet turf

What makes it different from a typical kennel?

Bark Away is crate-free, using custom-built kennels and suites in place of standard crates. Dogs split their time between climate-controlled indoor play and a large turf yard outside. The team describes its approach as getting to know each dog's personality, from energetic puppies to laid-back seniors.

Staff are certified in CPR and in canine body language, which counts for a lot in group play settings. New dogs go through a temperament evaluation before they join in. That step gives staff a read on how each dog handles other dogs and new people.
